Economic Counsellor, Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia

Lívia Vašáková is an economic counsellor at the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia, where she is in charge of coordinating and communicating EU economic and social policies. Previously she worked for DG–Energy at the European Commission, with responsibility for energy modelling, impact assessments and economic analysis in relation to long-term energy policies, energy efficiency, energy infrastructure and regulation. Mrs Vašáková holds an MSc from the University of Economics in Bratislava. She has also studied at the Johannes Kepler University, the Ludwig-Maximilian University, Aix-en-Provence University, the University of Ljubljana, and undertook postgraduate studies at Europa–Kolleg Hamburg.
