Analyst, Institute of Economic and Social Studies – INESS

Martin Vlachynský is an analyst at INESS, the institute of economic and social studies, which he joined in 2012, after several years of working in the private sector. His main focus is on economic competitiveness, the business environment, EU economic policies and the energy sector. His recent publications include analysis of policy impacts on electricity prices in Slovakia. Martin graduated in economic policy from the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, and in economics, management and international relations from the Graduate Business School, Aberdeen University.
