President, Energy Regulatory Office, Poland

Maciej Bando is President of the Energy Regulatory Office, Poland. Prior to that he built up his experience working as financial director and member of the board responsible for finance and investment. Between 2002 and 2009 he was engaged at the Polska Grupa Energetyczna, as vice president of the board of the Pumped-Storage Hydroelectricity Plant and director of the Investment Bureau at PGE Dystrybucja Warszawa Teren. Maciej Bando graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology. He also undertook postgraduate studies in business and management, and has attended various courses and training sessions in this field.
