Chairwoman, Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic

Marta Žiaková was appointed Chair of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic. Previously she held various positions at NPP Personnel Training Center VUJE. Ms Žiaková was a team leader and member of several IAEA expert missions. She was governor of Slovakia on the IAEA Board of Governors and chair of the IAEA Board of Governors. Ms Žiaková was vice-chair and later chair of the OECD/NEA Steering Committee for Nuclear Energy. She is also a member of the OECD/NEA CNRA Bureau, INSAG, the Slovak Nuclear Society and Society for Science and Technology.
