Vice President, ENTSO-E; CEO, Terna S.p.A., Rome

Matteo del Fante is General Director of Terna SpA, and Vice President of ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. He began his career at JP Morgan. In 2004 he joined the newly privatized Cassa depositi e prestiti SpA (CDP) as head of finance and M&A, before becoming CEO of the Group’s management company and later managing director of CDP. He also served as a board member for several companies in the CDP Group and for the European Energy Efficiency Fund (EEEF). Matteo del Fante graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
