Member and former chairwoman of the H2020 Advisory group on Energy

Marianne Haug is a member of the HORIZON 2020 Advisory Group on Energy at the European Commission in Brussels. She also teaches Energy Policy and Sustainable Development at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. Her focus is innovation dynamics and the growth of clean energy within a rapidly changing global economy. In the past she worked at the World Bank in Washington, DC, as director and senior advisor to the president, amongst other things, and as director at the International Energy Agency (IEA), and chair of the Board of the Forum für Zukunftsenergien in Berlin.
