Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic

Peter Plavčan is currently Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. He has worked at the ministry since 1991, and he has held various positions, including director of the Department of University Education, and general director of the Section of University Education, Science and Research. He holds a Candidate of Sciences degree in pedagogy from Comenius University, Bratislava, a degree in economics and business management from Matej Bel University, Banská Bystrica, and was awarded the title of Professor in Educational Technology by Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
