Analyst in the field of science and research, Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic

Juraj Wagner works as an analyst and expert in science, research and development at the Slovak education ministry. He represents the Slovak Republic in the WP TIP OECD and is Slovakia’s SET Plan Sherpa. He started his professional career as a teacher and researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology (FEI STUBA) in Bratislava. He obtained a PhD and was later awarded the academic rank of associate professor in power engineering. He was founder and first dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and served two terms as rector of Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín.
