Managing Director, Centre for Research and Development

Andrej Hanzel is Managing Director at the Center for Research and Development. The center deals with nuclear and radiation safety, cooperation within a large synchronously interconnected system, the interconnection of renewables to large systems, and cooperation with the TSO in Slovakia amongst other things. Prior to taking up this position he spent his working life at Slovenské elektrárne, as, holding different positions (head of technical support, team leader for nuclear activity, manager for generation support and senior expert for efficiency).  He graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 1979.
